The Pastoralist Development Agenda (PDA) is a registered Kenyan NGO founded in 2010 as the Centre for Community Change (CCC). We have grown from our grassroots beginnings in Isiolo to become a dynamic organization operating across 9 counties in Kenya’s arid and semi-arid lands.

Rooted in the principles of equity, justice, and inclusivity, our mission is to empower pastoralist communities through sustainable, community-led interventions. We work to build resilience, enhance livelihoods, and foster peace for a self-reliant and prosperous future.

We deliver impact through proven methodologies and deep community engagement through collaborating with government, NGOs, and the private sector to leverage resources and extend our reach. All initiatives are co-designed with pastoralist communities to ensure relevance and sustainability. Our projects interconnect across focus areas for amplified impact.
