Founded in 2010 as the Centre for Community Change (CCC), our journey began with deep roots in the communities of Isiolo. From these local beginnings, we have grown into a dynamic, registered Kenyan NGO operating across 9 counties in Kenya’s arid and semi-arid lands.

Agro-Value Chain Development
We foster sustainable livelihoods by developing local markets, enhancing production, and adding value to pastoral and crop products to build economic resilience.
Water, Sanitation & Hygiene
We ensure reliable access to clean water and promote hygiene practices through sustainable infrastructure, safeguarding community health and reducing resource-based conflicts.
Education & Capacity Building
We strengthen community agency by providing foundational education, vocational training, and leadership development to build the skills needed for self-reliant and resilient futures.
Climate Change Mitigation
This work transforms vulnerable landscapes into resilient buffers against climate shocks, directly safeguarding the natural resource base that pastoralist livelihoods depend upon.
Civic Education
Through non-partisan education, we empower community members to understand their rights, engage effectively with government structures, and hold leaders accountable for equitable service delivery and resource management.
Primary Health Support
We deliver essential healthcare services and education to remote pastoralist communities, improving well-being and productivity through mobile clinics and outreach.
Wildlife Conservation
We promote coexistence by integrating community livelihoods with conservation efforts, protecting biodiversity and creating shared benefits from natural ecosystems.
Women & Youth Empowerment
We intentionally design opportunities for women and youth to move from the margins to the center of community life; economically, socially, and politically.
